Hosted by the North Central Electrical League (NCEL), the Upper Midwest Electrical EXPO drew more than 7,000 attendees and 275 exhibitors to the Minneapolis Convention Center on April 16–17. EC&M Editor Ellen Parson and Electrical Wholesaling Editor Jim Lucy were on the scene to report from this highly anticipated and well-attended regional trade show floor. The event definitely did not disappoint.
Among the highlights that caught my eye were several standout products. From ultra-efficient LED innovations and smart panel systems to cutting-edge EV charging solutions and wearable safety devices, these new product introductions reflect the industry’s accelerating shift toward smarter, more sustainable infrastructure. This gallery offers a glimpse into the future of electrical innovation — straight from the EXPO floor.
