The Minuteman EnTerra series 3-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) utilizes double conversion technology and Adaptive Feed Cancellation (AFC) to effectively protect large electrical loads. The combination of centralized backup, high input and output power factors (0.99 and 0.9 respectively), and up to 94% system efficiency ratings mean EnTerra offers a substantial reduction in operating costs versus multiple single phase UPSs. Users can also reduce electrical consumption and operating costs when upgrading from older, less efficient 3-phase systems.
A substantial set of standard features set the EnTerra series apart from competitive options. All units include on-site startup by a trained electrician, internal bypass hardware, an SNMP communications card, and a 2-year warranty which includes 1 year of full battery coverage along with 10 years of prorated coverage. EnTerra users will also benefit from a total harmonic distortion of less than 1%, user-friendly voltage configuration changes on the front panel control screen, soft start walk-in that provides added safety during power transition, and a host of other features.
Versatility is key with any power protection solution, and EnTerra is available in 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40kVA configurations, with multiple battery and runtime configurations available for each capacity level. EnTerra is also easily expandable for capacity or N+1 redundancy, providing support for capacities up to 160kVA. In addition, units can be ordered as a power conditioner or frequency converter which can be upgraded to a UPS by adding batteries in the future.
EnTerra 10-40kVA 3-phase UPSs represent a suitable solution for small to large data center installations, industrial and laboratory applications, enterprise-wide network and security systems, and any other areas where 3-phase power is available and critical equipment requires efficient backup.
