According to recent data from Kelley Blue Book, in the second quarter of this year, Americans purchased 11.3% more EVs than they did in the second quarter of last year and 23% more than in the first quarter of 2024. EVs made up 8% of all new-car sales last quarter, up from the previous record of 7.2% recorded in the second quarter of last year.
As those statistics indicate, electric vehicles aren’t going anywhere. It should be no surprise then that EV infrastructure and equipment continue to be a hot topic with EC&M readers.
