A snapshot of which U.S. states rank highest when it comes to mass adoption and preparedness of electric vehicles

There are currently more than 2.2 million electric vehicles on American roadways. According to recent research from StorageCafe based on analysis of Atlas EV Hub data, 10 states are leading the way when it comes to electric vehicle (EV) ownership (as of 2021). It's no surprise that California is leading the charge, but some of the other states rounding out the top 10 may surprise you. Appearing in descending order, scroll through the slides to see which states are winning the race toward EV adoption (measured in thousands of EVs on the road).
