The E-J Group Welcomes EC Electric to the Organization

With EC Electric, the E-J Group expands data center, chip plant, and west coast presence.

The E-J Group has strengthed their presence on the West Coast and announced the acquisition of EC Electric.

EC Electric, headquartered in Portland, Ore., has been in business since 1946 and is one of the most respected and trusted full-service electrical contractors on the West Coast, E-J stated in the press release. The depth of experience and expertise, particularly in data centers and chip plants, will enhance the services offered to clients.

"We are pleased to welcome EC Electric to the E-J Group family. The acquisition will maximize each firm's specializations to further expand E-J's presence on the West Coast. All our divisions operate under the same philosophy, safety first while remaining innovative with prefabrication and lean construction solutions," says Anthony E. Mann, CEO of the E-J Group. Andrew Beyer, CEO of EC Electric stated, "We believe that support from the E-J Group organization will provide us with even more opportunities to pursue new business initiatives while maintaining the highest quality services to our clients."

EC Electric will retain its name and cultural identity, with its current leadership continuing in their respective roles. Andrew Beyer will remain as CEO, reporting to E-J's Executive Vice President, Alan Lang. Jon Orrell will continue as President.
