It’s no secret that electricians earn a competitive wage. It’s also no secret that certain parts of the country pay more for electricians' skills than others. If you keep up on these pay statistics, you’ll notice the lists typically don't change much from one year to the next. This was mostly the case in 2020, according to the latest numbers released from the Bureau of Labor Statistics in its "Occupational Employment and Wages, May 2020 Study." Nevertheless, three cities managed to overtake the competition, bumping off one city in Idaho and two in Illinois.
