Q. What is the maximum Code allowable voltage for pier power distribution systems in marinas and boatyards?

A. Pier power distribution systems must not exceed 250V phase to phase. Pier power distribution systems, where qualified personnel service the equipment under engineering supervision, are permitted to exceed 250V but these systems must not exceed 600V. (Sec. 555.5)
