Article 620 covers the installation of electrical equipment and wiring used in connection with elevators, dumbwaiters, escalators, moving walks, platform lifts, and stairway lifts. Wiring requirements are outlined in Part III of this Article. As per Sec. 620.23(B), "The machine room or control room/machinery space or control space lighting switch shall be located at the point of entry."
