Safety campaign encourages electrical contractors to take over bonding for CSST gas piping systems

I went to one 2 hour class on CSST. What a joke. Every company has their own way of grounding it. I only have $300,000 worth of insurance and this is the only thing I turn down. The last house I was in that had CSST installed amazed me. Plumber secure it to a 3" baseboard the entire 18 feet of room for a corner fire place. Sofa and the vacuum cleaner had it dented beyond description. I think that it should be bonded at both end fittings and once every 10 feet if exposed like that.
I had a customers $600,000 house with Wardflex, Diamondback and Gastite. Had to infract it because I couldn't verify the bond point in their beautifully finished basement. All the Manufacturers insist it should be bonded at least after the meter and BEFORE the first CSST fitting. As a Gas Tech we have to verify the bond or could be liable as the last person to see/touch the system.
