Tom Bowen joined Qmerit in 2021, bringing tremendous expertise in commercial energy efficiency and renewable energy alternatives, as well as proven experience in leading organizations both regionally and nationally.

Tom has a unique business development and general management background which is perfectly suited to his new role. At Qmerit, his responsibilities include supporting current clients’ needs and the company’s growth aspirations—in particular, expanding its delivery capabilities for the multi-family, utility and small to mid-market commercial segments.

Prior to joining Qmerit, Tom spent two years as the CEO of private equity backed North American Roofing, LLC, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s sales, operations and financial performance. He led the organization through the impacts of COVID-19, which included a PPP loan process, organizational restructuring, and transition to a remote workforce. A recognized leader in the energy services industry, Tom’s background also includes leadership roles at large, public Fortune 50 and 500 companies including Honeywell International, Sempra Energy, and Chevron, with deep P&L, sales, operations, and M&A experience.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from California State University at Long Beach, and an MBA from Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University. He serves on the Executive Advisory Committee for the National Association of Energy Services Companies (NAESCO).
