Oliver Phillips joined Qmerit in 2021, bringing a wealth of financial and operating expertise focused on the energy sector, including the renewables, decarbonization, electrification and energy services markets.

As Chief Operating Officer and head of Qmerit, Oliver oversees Qmerit’s corporate, platform and field operations globally. He is also responsible for the company’s expansion into the U.K., continental Europe and other international markets. Previously, Oliver served as Qmerit’s Chief Financial Officer, helping to build out the Finance and Accounting organization as the company grew from 20 to 500+ employees.

Prior to joining Qmerit, Oliver spent 10 years in various strategic roles at Lime Rock New Energy and Lime Rock Partners, where he was instrumental in setting up international operations for multiple companies. At Lime Rock, he was responsible for investment sourcing, diligence and oversight for companies in the oilfield and industrial services sector as well as technology. He participated in numerous platform investments and follow-on acquisitions, as well as debt and equity financing. Previously, he worked as an investment banker at Lazard and Lehman Brothers.

Oliver received a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Mathematical Economic Analysis and Management from Rice University. He speaks multiple languages.
