Convertible UPS

The 1kVA to 3 kVA SL LiFePO₄ UPS family from Falcon Electric features lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄₎ batteries that provide three to four times longer runtimes over lead-acid-based UPSs. Unlike other lithium-ion battery types, LiFePO₄ batteries have a very stable chemistry that is not subject to thermal runaway, making them virtually incombustible even in high-temperature environments. They also include a 10-yr service life. Other product highlights include a lightweight, small footprint; convertible rack/tower design that easily switches to a free-standing tower; online UPS design; and advanced communications for remote UPS management. In addition, they are up to 93% efficient and have a 0.9 power factor.
