The Heat Spy Imager HSI250 handheld thermography camera features a 160 × 120 thermal array.
The Heat Spy Imager HSI250 handheld thermography camera from Palmer Wahl Instruments features a 160 × 120 thermal array for a total of 19,200 individual pixels. Offering a lightweight, ergonomic design, the camera is suitable for scanning and checking for overheat in a variety of locations. The included laser pointer assists in properly aiming the center of the screen at the target. Highlights include a noise equivalent temperature difference (NETD) of less than 40 millikelvins at 25°C; when combined with one of the four included color palettes, this allows users to more clearly define temperature differentials to highlight what they want to reveal in the thermal image. In addition, users can switch between two temperature ranges, -4° to 320°F or 212° to 1022°F as well as Celsius and Kelvin equivalents, with an accuracy of ±2°C or ±2%, whichever is greater. A built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery allows for 8 hr of continuous run time.
