The N2LED emergency egress LED luminaire features a design that is more than 50% smaller and lighter than traditional models, offers up to 130 lm of illumination per lamp, and consumes 75% less power, according to the company. Enclosed and gasketed for industrial and marine use, the luminaire provides up to 180 min. of emergency operation with no degradation of light quality. Other features include an illuminated "push" test button that gives users an instant status indicator, along with automatic self-diagnostics that check the battery, lamps, and load transfer circuitry every 30 days. During emergency operation, the battery is protected from deep discharge damage by a low-voltage disconnect (LVD) circuit that automatically disconnects and reconnects the load, based on battery condition.
