PD-I and PD-E laser range meters offer accuracy of ± 1/16 in. The PD-E is designed for exterior applications. Suitable for use in direct sunlight, E-paper screen technology allows for readability even in the most challenging light conditions while the precision optical targeting sight enables long distance measurements up to 656 ft. For interior applications, the PD-I measures up to 328 ft, making overhead measurements without the use of a ladder or forklift possible. In addition, this model uses a standard LCD screen with brighter illumination for improved readability in darker areas. Features of both versions include a compact design, sensor-automated backlight, inclination sensor for faster indirect measurements, and LED reference indicators.
