CyrusOne Launches Virtual Tour of San Antonio II Data Center
Global data center services provider CyrusOne has launched avirtual tour of its 372,000 square-foot, San Antonio II data center campus on its website (also see video below).
“Along with its central position in Texas and distance from natural-disaster zones, this facility offers customers a unique opportunity to establish an exceptional IT disaster recovery or production footprint in a highly reliable colocation facility with multiple levels of redundancy, as well as access to one of the fastest and most reliable connectivity networks over the CyrusOne National IX [Internet Exchange],” said Scott Brueggeman, chief marketing officer, CyrusOne. “The San Antonio II virtual tour highlights the facility’s design, systems, amenities, and significant security features, including perimeter fencing, dual authentication, biometric access systems, and a 24/7 security-guard presence.”
CyrusOne’s San Antonio II data center is located near CyrusOne’s first San Antonio facility and, at full build, the site’s campus is expected to encompass 372,000 square feet and offer up to 196,000 colocation square feet (CSF) and over 20,000 square feet of superior Class A office space that customers can use. It is to be connected to the CyrusOne National IX, which enables high-performance, low-cost data transfer and accessibility for customers and unites many CyrusOne data center sites around the United States, with more coming online soon.
The second San Antonio data center is conveniently located in the Westover Hills area, with easy access to major highways and the airport. It is a carrier-neutral facility and is capable of providing up to 36 megawatts of power to the fully redundant infrastructure.
