Moving Violations Video No. 280: Set-Screw or Compression Fittings?
Feb. 2, 2023
In this episode, Russ shows us an installation using electrical metallic tubing (EMT). The EMT is mounted on the exterior wall of a building and uses a combination of set-screw and compression-type fittings. The compression fittings are Code-compliant whereas the set-screw connectors are not. The use of set-screw connectors in this setting violates the requirements in Sec. 314.15.
