Tony Adams
Adams has enjoyed a distinguished 34-year career in lighting. After interning in architecture, Tony spent half of his career as Senior Lighting Designer for an international multi-discipline design and construction firm, where he was recognized with numerous international design awards. He also functioned as VP Engineering for a leading-edge lighting manufacturing company to create energy-efficient lighting products. In his current position of national lighting manager, he represents Evergreen Consulting Group and its U.S. clients in industry relations and serves on national committees and industry organizations to affect national policy toward energy education and market adoption of new energy efficient technologies. Tony is an international lighting industry speaker and instructor and has served as an adjunct professor for the University of Oregon Master of Architecture program. An IESNA member since 1990, Tony was in the first exam group (1998) to receive the LC (Lighting Certified) professional certification from the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP).
