The International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) recently announced that its board of directors has appointed Rudolph Garza as president and CEO beginning June 1, 2020. Garza will continue advancing the association following the retirement of President and CEO David Clements after 10 years of dedicated service to the association and more than 47 years to the electrical industry.
Garza has more than 20 years of association management experience, having served as executive vice president of the Texas Masonry Council, executive director of the Temple Area Builders Association, and executive director of the San Diego Housing Federation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. In addition, Garza has extensive experience with all aspects of association management, including financial planning, curriculum development, public relations, lobbying activities, trade show execution, and marketing and advertising.
