With the recent completion of an 80,000-square-foot build-out project of CoreSite’s northern Virginia data center, Power Design, Inc. has recently announced a major expansion of its data center division. The firm has recently hired additional staff for its data center division, led by Jason Calvert, regional VP.

The firm has extensive experience in the data center sector and recognizes the opportunity in this highly specialized market. With national resources and in-house engineering, Power Design has been able to separate itself from the competition and has recently hired additional resources to support this strategic growth. 

“We are excited to announce our expansion into the data center market,” says Calvert. “We have a talented group of individuals and expect that next year will be a continuation of our record growth in 2012.”

Power Design, Inc. recently completed an 80,000-square-foot build-out project of CoreSite’s northern Virginia data center, a Tier 3 center designed to meet stringent government security requirements. The build-out consisted of installing new UPS distribution units, lighting, grounding, computer cooling systems, and emergency shutoff systems.
