Graybar Electric, St. Louis, recently announced it has selected SAP America’s mySap.com e-business platform to run its business systems applications. The company’s software, services, and technology will replace Graybar’s legacy technology.
The electrical products distributor plans to implement programs like customer relationship management, supply chain management, human resources, enterprise portals, and business intelligence from the mySap.com platform in phases through 2004.
“Graybar has made a significant investment n our physical infrastructure over the last few years with our zone initiative,” said Graybar Chairman, President, and CEO Robert A. Reynolds, Jr. “This is an investment in our knowledge infrastructure that will complement that investment and provide functionality and capabilities to run our business that we have never had before.”
