A taxi recently dropped me off at the Dollar Auto Rental lot at the major airport near my home. When I got out of the car, this is what I found. I’m sure the problem is obvious to most of you.
To start with, how about the open exposed live wires and broken connection. Take a look at any of the rules related to safety and grounding and bonding in Article 250 of the NEC, and you’ll quickly see why this installation doesn’t cut it.
Oh, and by the way, when I mentioned this to the clerk at the counter they said, “What do you want me to do about it?”
