Article 300.16A Conduit bodies shall contain no splices or taps. Because it is not durably and ledgibly marked by manufacturer with their volume, and conduit bodies shall be supported in a ridgid and secure manner 314.16(C)(2). Conduit bodies shall be provided with covers 314.28(C). This conduit body has splice, or tap that is not allowed. There is no cover on conduit body. It exceeds the allowable space for conductors. Dennis is correct here, there cannot be any assumptions made. This is just poor quality work and the guy that did this is a dumb dumb.
