Conduit Fittings: It Depends on How You Face Them
Oct 1, 1998 12:00 PM, By EC&M Staff
The August Back To Basics article, “The Basics Of Conduit Fittings,” uses the term “condulets.” Condulet® is one of Crouse-Hinds’ registered trademarks and has been for well over half a century. Otherwise, it is a useful article and certainly fits the back to basics theme. The text accompanying Figures 4 and 5, however, requires minor corrections. The text ending Fig. 4 should read “you’ll see that the hub is on your right and on the bottom.” If you are facing the opening, and the hub is on top, it will be on your left. Similarly, Fig. 5 should read “you’ll see that the hub is on your left and on the bottom.”
