The District of Columbia Office of Apprenticeship Information and Training Approves IEC Chesapeake’s Telecommunications Technician Apprenticeship Standards
IEC Chesapeake (IECC) is proud to announce that its Telecommunications Technician Apprenticeship Standards were approved recently by the District of Columbia Office of Apprenticeship Information and Training during the Apprenticeship Council’s monthly meeting.
IECC will now be able to offer telecommunications technician apprenticeship training to employer’s and residents in the low voltage industry. IECC also offers an electrical apprenticeship program that is recognized by the District of Columbia in partnership with the Community College of the District of Columbia. This program is offered at the PR Harris Educational Center in South East.
IECC’s Telecommunications Technician Apprenticeship program is an excellent resource for area contractors to consider since it is geared to prepare apprentices in better understanding the trade and code as they strive for a successful career in the low voltage industry.
