The next generation of the UL White Book is here, UL Product Spec.  UL Product Spec contains all the UL White Book information, and more, for electrical construction materials as well as building and fire-related construction. It is a free Web compliance tool that works on any Internet-connected device and right sizes to your screen, be it a smart phone, tablet or PC. Save it to your home screen or bookmark it and it acts just like an app.

This important sourcing and compliance tool offers five ways to search. Search by Installation Code Section, and Product Type keyword. Browse by intuitive groupings of Products, Systems and Assemblies, or search by UL Category Code or Master Format Number. UL Product Spec lets you view fire stop systems and fire-rated assembly designs, in the field where you need them. 

Each search will display a comprehensive search result that includes the UL Guide Information, all the UL Listings (certifications), links to UL Publications that relate to the topic as well as the scope of the UL Requirements used for certification, all at your fingertips.   

The print edition of the UL White Book will be retired. The 2014 edition of the UL White Book will be the last printed version.
