Lead Singer Electrocuted During Sound Check

The lead singer of an Argentinian rock band was electrocuted on Sunday, November 23rd while doing a sound check at Teatro del Sol — a venue in Carlos Paz, Argentina. Agustin Briolini was lead singer of the band Krebs and received an electric shock from the microphone, according to a report in the New York Daily News.

The singer immediately received medical assistance, but when they couldn't revive him, he was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Faulty wires in the microphone may be the cause of his death, the report said.
