NEC rules on available fault current markings for electrical equipment

The 2014 NEC has added an Informational Note to clarify that the available fault current markings, which are required to be marked in the field as per 110.24, are related (compared) to the short circuit current ratings of the equipment and are not intended to be used to meet the requirements of NFPA 70E.
