Surge protective device
The Surge-Trap surge protective device (SPD) features the company's TPMOV technology, which allows for no additional overcurrent protection and offers modular-style “finger-safe” protection, according to the company. UL 1449 Third Edition approved, the SPD suits system voltages from 120V to 600V and MCOV rated 180V at 550V. Other product features include a 100kA short circuit current rating (SCCR) and 20kA 8/20 µs capacity rating per mode.
The GT Series of 5kVA to 10kVA single-phase double-conversion uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) is designed for use in rack or tower configurations. Output voltages include 240/120VAC, 208/120VAC, 230/115VAC, 220/110VAC, or 200/100VAC. Up to three 8kVA and 10kVA modules can be paralleled for a maximum of 30kVA. In addition, power modules and user-replaceable hot-swappable batteries can be replaced without shutting down power to the protected load.
GE Digital Energy
The FirstLine 3-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) product line now includes a 37.5kVA model. The UPS features a standard battery run time of 6 min. UL1778-listed, the control panel located on the front of the NEMA 1 enclosure includes an alarm and remote monitoring through an RS232 connection.
Staco Energy Products
These three SmartPro shallow-depth rackmount UPS systems are designed for use in network/telecom wiring closets. The Smart3000CRMXL features a 3,000VA 2,880W capacity, a 4U height, and a 17.75-in. depth. The SMART2200CRMXL features a 2,200VA 1,900W capacity, a 4U height, and a 17.75-in. depth. The SMART 1500CRMXL has a 1,500VA 1,440W capacity, a 2U height, and a 19.5-in. depth. According to the company, the systems provide up to double the runtime of similar standard-sized rackmount UPSs.
The Powerware 9130 Series UPS is designed to help IT managers carry out green initiatives in their IT environments. The 700VA to 3,000VA models feature a 0.9 output power factor, a double-conversion design, and can operate in a high-efficiency mode of greater than 95% when power conditions are within acceptable limits. Additional product features include the company's ABM technology, a small form factor, intuitive power management software, and an intelligent display.
Power factor transducers
The CR6300 Series of power factor transducers senses the phase angle difference between AC current and voltage signals. Available in three basic models, the product can measure -90° to +90° phase differences. Bandwidth is 5 kHz, and input ranges can be extended using CTs and Pts. Outputs are direct to data acquisition, PLCs, display, and computer systems. Additional product features include window openings to accommodate wires up to 0.26 in. in diameter and voltage input up to 500V with 25A of current. Measuring 3.26-in. × 1.42 in. × 2.00 in., the units are powered by a single 24VDC power supply and can be mounted on 35-mm DIN rails or surface panels.
