A centric conical tip guides the bit and results in rounder holes, while a wear mark alerts the user when the bit has worn to a level where it’s no longer precise. Available in sizes ranging from 3/16 in to 11/8 in. in diameter, the bits’ overall flute design facilitates dust removal, reduces operating temperatures, and reduces bit stress in concrete and rebar.
The XQ200 and XQ350 mobile diesel gen-sets meet Tier 4 Interim emissions regulations. Constructed of bar stock steel or malleable iron, features include a compact, slim profile with a small turning radius, crimpable ferrule to secure mechanical grounding, and deep ferrule threads four times greater than UL pull-out requirements. The Code Blue line of pliers now features redesigned American-made grips. Constructed from composite thermoplastic elastomer cores and overmolds, the company says the grips now deliver a more secure hold, greater durability, and enhanced comfort. Featuring a sleeker, lighter design, the pliers are forged from high carbon C1080 steel.
Made of aluminum, these load-bearing hanger brackets are designed to protect cables from deformation and stress from load weights, and can be mounted on a pole or wall. Suitable for use with a variety of copper, coax, or fiber-optic cable terminals and splice cases, the hanger brackets are available in numerous lengths, ranging from 3.5 in. × 22 in. to 5.5 in. × 40 in., with various standoff combinations. The MG300 combines a digital insulation resistance tester with a digital multimeter. In addition, users can monitor real-time readings on a computer screen from distances up to 30 ft away. The C175-20 diesel gen-set features 20-cylinders that produce up to 4MW of power. Built with the same core engine parts as the C175-16 model, the gen-set can be used for peak shaving/grid stiffening as the sole source of power to remote communities and as prime power for remote work sites. Certified to EPA Stationary Emergency Tier 2 emissions limits, the company says the gen-set’s oil change interval is 600 hr, with the first major overhaul needed at 22,000 hr for the 60-Hz units and at 27,000 hr for the 50-Hz units.
These occupancy and vacancy sensors feature passive infrared (PIR) sensor technology to sense movement of heat-emitting bodies and accurately detect the presence of people in a room. Through the use of a user-adjustable dial, the occupancy sensors allow users to preset lighting time delays from 5 min to 30 min. Additionally, the occupancy sensor features a user-selectable ambient light override adjustment that prevents lights from turning on when there is a sufficient amount of natural light present. The vacancy sensor provides manual-on/auto-off operation only (CA Title 24 Compliant). Traditional clamp covers can be specified for applications where access to the inside is not regularly required. The Permaliter Wallpack Series now includes LED options in the PGM3 and PVL3 models. According to the company, these wallpacks offer a 50,000-hr life, provide a 60% to 70% energy savings over traditional wallpack systems, and deliver a lateral spread that allows for typical spacing of three to four times the mounting height. The PGM3 model features a glass refractor with wide lateral coverage on non-cutoff distributions and delivers 4,100 lm at a nominal 5,000K for typical mounting heights of 10 ft to 15 ft. The PVL3 features a polycarbonate refractor and one-piece, vandal-resistant front. This model produces 3,500 lm and features 3-to-1 spacing-to-mounting-height ratio for uniform perimeter lighting.
WA adapters add wireless connectivity and distributed control to lighting fixtures, sensors, wall switches, and other wired products within buildings. Via the adapters, most fixtures and other off-the-shelf products can easily add the ZigBee communications standard at either the point of manufacture or the customer site, and connect to the company’s centralized ControlScope software and other ZigBee-certified wireless products. Available in five models, the products are designed for control of individual luminaires and multi-function control of complete circuits.
The DT Series of large aperture current transducers combines a hall effect sensor and signal conditioner into a single package for use in DC current applications up to 1,200A. Factory-calibrated ranges simplify operation and eliminate zero and span pots, according to the company. The DIN-rail mountable units are available in 4mA to 20mA, 0VDC to 5VDC, or 0VDC to10VDC outputs that are magnetically isolated from the input.
The RoadMaster LED streetlight is available in 35W, 55W, and 75W configurations with efficacies reaching in excess of 90 lm/W, according to the company. Designed to replace up to 150W high-pressure sodium luminaires while providing energy savings in excess of 50%, the streetlight features a flat glass cobrahead. Additional features include tool-less access to electrical components, a standard 3G vibration rating, and optional Type II, III, and V full cut-off distributions.
