Calbond steel and aluminum conduit bodies now come standard with a double coating for improved integrity of installations. The PVC-coated conduit bodies feature a minimum thickness of 0.002-in. urethane on the interior and exterior of the fitting, and are then coated again with a
40 mil PVC coating on top of the urethane, providing an additional layer of protection against accidental nicks and/or cuts. All products are UL-listed, cUL-listed, and fully compliant to NEMA RN-1 for use in highly corrosive environments
The DET4 Series includes four ground testing instruments. The DET4TC2 and DET4TCR2 include attached rod technique (ART) capability and stakeless (clamp-on) testing for applications where traditional fall-of-potential testing isn’t possible. All four models offer selectable output voltage of 25V and 50V, are rated to 100V CAT IV, and are IP54-rated. The DET4TC2 and DET4TCR2 models have a resistance measurement range up to 200,000 Ω, while the DET4TD2 and DET4TR2 offer a resistance measurement range up to 20,000 Ω. The testers also feature a large selector switch that enables users to choose 2-, 3-, or 4-pole tests, even when wearing work gloves.
Splinter Guard fish and glow rods now feature a protective coating to keep hands free of fiberglass splinters when wire pulling. Available in 5/32-in., 3/16-in., and ¼-in. flexibilities and a variety of lengths, rod sections can be threaded together to customize the length needed for the job at hand, with no tools needed. Additionally, the products glow two times longer and twice as bright in dark work spaces than previous versions. Sets include bullet nose and hook attachments to attach and grab wires.
The LMPS-104 Digital Partition Switch features four buttons that represent the movable partition walls. To recall the correct control configuration for the space, users press a combination of buttons to mimic the space configuration. The switch features removable buttons that can be replaced in the field with custom-engraved button kits, identifying the associated walls.
AccountLinx Plus data transfer software shares employee data and payroll records between the company’s ExakTime software and popular payroll applications. Designed to automate ExakTime software setup and keep employee databases up-to-date in two applications, the software imports employee data from a business’s current payroll software directly into the company’s TimeSummit time and attendance software, eliminating manual data entry during ExakTime system setup and maintenance. On the backend, the software exports TimeSummit’s real-time data back into the original payroll application, providing accurate, digital time records for payroll.
The Video Conference indirect wash LED luminaire features a reflector design that offers even, glare-free light distribution for participants in a video conference and for presenters in a distance learning environment. The luminaire provides a combination of horizontal and asymmetrical vertical illumination and is suitable for use in spaces where indirect, balanced lighting is desired but ceiling heights are too low for suspended luminaries. Features include universal input voltage 120/277VAC, the company’s Hi-Lume A-series LED dimming driver, and an emergency driver option.
The 7-in. TwinForce is a dual-hinge, high-leverage diagonal cutter that the company says requires approximately half of the strength to cut medium to hard wire compared to other high-leverage diagonal cutters of the same size — even at the cutting tip. The tool cuts all wire, including steel tape and thicker materials up to 3/16 in. without excessive effort.
The Bolt Star reusable “bolt template” tool sits on the tube form and potentially cuts in half the time required to construct a pole base used in outdoor area lighting applications. Strength tested to 1,000 lb, the tool holds the anchor bolts, rebar, cage, and conduits securely in place during the concrete pour. Arched arms feature bolt slots and pre-measured markings for quick bolt setup.
The Copper Wire Stripper Jr. is a compact, portable machine that easily mounts to solid work surfaces, and is driven by any standard power drill. Made from a heavy-duty all aluminum frame and hardened steel blade, the machine can hold up to the wear and tear that arises from stripping scrap or surplus wire. Features include: the ability to strip from 14 AWG to 4/0 AWG, a hardened one-piece blade made from tool steel that is easily re-sharpened, and a fully adjustable wire guide.
The 38ADS and 38ACDS single-barrel, double snap-in connectors have been added to the company’s product offering. The 38ACDS quickly connects metal-clad and armored cable in old work. From inside the electrical box, snap the cable into the connector, and then snap the connector into the box. This model also snaps metal-clad and armored cable into steel boxes and enclosures. Both models feature a robust, insulated throat and are cULus-listed.
The DCF680 8V MAX* screwdriver is operated by gyroscopic sensors inside of the tool that sense the user’s wrist motions. Features include variable-speed control and an adjustable two-position handle that allows operation in in-line or pistol grip orientation. Powered by the company’s 8V MAX* Li-ion battery, an LED ring light allows illumination in confined areas while the battery state of charge is displayed on top of the tool that notifies the user when to charge the battery.
The Easy Access Lighting Box (EALB) allows one person to install high-bay luminaires. The box is first installed with the side and cover plates removed, and the luminaire is then attached to the cover plate, which slides back into the box. With the fixture in place, wiring can be completed and the side plate can then be screwed onto the box. Measuring 4 in. × 4 in. × 2 1/8 in., the product features four side knockouts and is adaptable for installation of other devices, such as sockets. Cover plates are interchangeable and include swivel styles.
The Curl Series of ceiling-suspended direct or direct/indirect T5 curved pendant luminaires is designed to replace interior HID, T12 fluorescent, incandescent, and halogen luminaires. Offering 80/20 and 60/40 distribution options, side-by-side 21-in.-long slots are water-jetted into the housing in widths of ¾ in. for 80/20 or
1½ in. for 60/40. Downlight shielding choices include an opal acrylic lens, a LexEfx circular screen print on an opal acrylic lens, or an HTLO linear patterned lens. Units are suspended via two 4-ft, 1-mm-thick stainless steel aircraft cables with locking micro-grippers for ease of altering suspension length. Available in 2-ft, 3-ft, 4-ft, or 8-ft individual fixtures or 12-ft, 16-ft, 20-ft, or 24-ft joined rows, the products are made from 60% recycled aluminum extrusion in a post powder-coat finish of metallic silver, satin white, or satin black.
The Metalux ArcLine LED Series of architectural recessed luminaires is offered in 1 ft × 1 ft, 2 ft × 2 ft, 2 ft × 4 ft, and 1 ft × 4 ft models. Featuring an advanced optical design that generates even light distribution, the luminaires are available in 3,000K, 3,500K, and 4,000K correlated color temperatures with an 85 CRI. In addition, the products comprise seven lumen package options with an efficacy up to 103 lm/W, depending on luminaire size. They also come equipped standard with a 0V to 10V continuous dimming driver that works with any standard 0V to 10V wallbox driver for dimming down to 15%.
Designed for standard duplex applications, the 331 Lift Station control panel covers three phases up to 32A each and three voltages (208V, 240V, or 480V). The panel is pre-engineered to “fit and click” the appropriate overload module into the starter for operation. Available in a stainless steel or fiberglass wall-mount enclosure, features include: single-point power connection, an IEC HP-rated motor starter with adjustable overload module, Class 10 ambient compensated overload relay, pump short circuit disconnect and overload reset accessible through the inner door, and a tri-voltage step-down control transformer.
The 5kV MIT515 and MIT525 and 10kV MIT1025 insulation testers feature rapid charge capabilities. Both 5kV units offer 5% accuracy up to 1 TΩ, while the 10kV unit offers 5% accuracy up to 2 TΩ. All models are rated for use at an altitude of 3,000 m and still maintain a CAT IV 600V safety rating. Designed to charge while operating, the testers can continue to take measurements when connected to line power with a fully discharged battery. In addition, the products are double insulated and built into a dual case designed to be fire-retardant.
Ametrix Asyx LED asymmetric uplight luminaires feature the company’s LightBAR technology and AccuLED Optics. Available in pendant and wall configurations, the luminaires are designed for indirect general illumination and highlighting architecture. Features include 86 lm/W, 3,000K (80 CRI) and 4,000K (70 CRI) color temperatures and a 50,000-hr life, according to the company. Available housing designs include a classic wedge shape (Asyx-WL) and a slim tray shape (Asyx-TL) with white, silver, black, bronze, and custom colors options. Versalux LED outdoor luminaires offer a range of mounting options, including arm, post top, canopy, and wall mount. Featuring the company’s VLED Optical Module, a system that offers modular interchangeability to meet all design criteria, the modules are available in 64, 80, and 120 LED packages with wattages from 70W to 202W and 4,200-lm to 13,750-lm output. VLED optics are available in Type II, III, IV and V-Sq to meet site requirements. Both full range and switch-controlled hi/lo dimming options are also offered.
