Bracketed Boxes

Designed for metal studs, PowerGrip MSB bracketed boxes offer tool-free, snap-on installation. Features include a center alignment viewing hole to make stud markings easy to find, a score line for optional removal of near-side portion when installing next to door jams, and a sturdy far-side support. Each box is supplied as a complete unit with the far-side support packaged inside the outlet box and held in place with a paper retainer. Offered in 4-in. × 4-in. and 411/16-in. × 411/16-in. models suitable for use with conduit, armored/metal clad cable, nonmetallic sheathed cable, red boxes for fire alarm applications, and the company’s open back boxes, the devices are manufactured from spring steel and have the ability to mount on either side of the stud. In addition, each bracket has top and bottom holes for installation of optional low-profile mounting screws.

Plastic Enclosures

This line of plastic enclosures is offered in sizes ranging from 5 in. × 3 in. to 14 in. × 11 in. in ABS and polycarbonate versions. All enclosures are NEMA 4, 4X, 6, and IP66/67 protection rated with a silicon gasket for enhanced protection. Featuring a transparent or solid gray cover, several accessories are available, including windows.

Electrical Boxes

Inexo electrical boxes are designed for insulated concrete form (ICF) applications. The boxes are installed after the concrete pour, allowing users to follow their traditional production schedule. Available in single-, double-, and triple-gang models, the boxes can be installed anywhere on the ICF wall. In addition, the products are certified to UL standards and can resist pull forces exceeding 100 lb, according to the company. Other features include three screw hole options, laser level guides, and teeth that provide an audible click when fully engaged and secured to EPS foam.

Wall-mount enclosures

Hoffman brand Protek wall-mount enclosures are designed to provide protection, support, thermal management, and easy access to rack-mounted, 19-in. panel, and other sensitive electronics. Models are UL- and CSA-listed and come with solid or window doors. In addition, the enclosures offer protection against water, dirt, corrosive agents, and other contaminants, as well as industrial environmental challenges, including high temperatures, impact, and security requirements. A choice of material options and ratings — including stainless steel and NEMA Type 3R — is available.
