Lead-Free Power Cable

EFC Envirotect medium-voltage power cable (available in both copper and aluminum) does not contain lead in its PVC jacket or EPR insulation. Approved for CT use in sizes 1/0 and larger, the company says the cable is capable of operating continuously at a conductor temperature not in excess of 105°C for normal operation, 140°C for emergency overload conditions, and 250°C for short circuit conditions. It's also rated at 5,000V, 133% insulation level (ungrounded system) and 8,000V, 100% insulation level (grounded system).
