These pre-assembled surge protection sets are for use in the solar photovoltaic (PV) industry. Surge arresters in the sets feature temperature-monitored, high-capacity varistors with optical fault warning and dynamic disconnect device. Offered in three models, the PV-SET DC and PV-SET Multistring versions offer surge protection on the PV generator side only. They are designed for small-scale systems with a single solar string or larger systems with several solar strings. The PV-SET DC/AC model protects all power lines in the system.
