The HP2S portable residential power backup system includes a home security component that operates independently of power outages. Comprised of a generator, smart transfer switch, and battery backup (or UPS), the system automatically transfers power to preselected systems and monitors electricity usage, temporarily shedding or delivering power as needed. Additional product features include a 6.6-gal fuel tank, 120/240V selector switch, automatic voltage regulator, and 12VDC battery charger. A 25-ft power cable and an optional exterior inlet box hardwired to the UTS are also offered.
