Product now features plastic inserts that consist of two component materials for gentler loosening of hoses and nozzles.

The Pipe and Connector Pliers Series from KNIPEX Tools now includes plastic inserts that consist of two component materials: a soft blue outer layer and firm red inner layer. The dual component inserts are designed for gently loosening hoses on nozzles. In addition to the dual-component inserts, the pliers feature a study box-joint design and 25 easy adjustments with the push of a button. They also include the soft jaw to prevent corrosion by not allowing metal from being transferred onto the workpiece. The soft jaw is suitable for electrical connections in high-performance automotive, truck and trailer applications. The rounded jaws grab round pipes and connectors up to 35/32 inches in diameter, appropriate for tightening and loosening screw connections, plastic pipe fittings, and round nuts. The series also includes a version without the plastic inserts if users require a tougher grip.
