Ecmweb 5832 Galvan Threadless Copper Coupling

Threadless couplings

Nov. 1, 2013
Designed for copper-coated ground rods, these threadless couplings connect any rods that are made to the ANSI-approved/NEMA GR-1 ground rod specification.

These threadless couplings for copper-coated ground rods securely connect any manufacturers' rods that are made to the design parameters of the ANSI-approved/NEMA GR-1 ground rod specification. Made from bronze alloy, the couplings are available in ½ in., 5/8 in., and ¾ in. sizes. According to the company, the products work by creating a compression joint without splitting or cracking when the rods are driven. Once connected, the force required to pull the rods apart from this joint is more than 1,500 lb.
