The Next Generation Switched Rack power distribution unit (PDU) features Metering-by-Outlet technology. According to the company, this technology offers the ability to provide device-level power monitoring and energy use logging, enabling users to pinpoint their power usage for each component connected. The PDU also includes energy-usage software, the ability to remotely manage individual outlets, as well as the ability to meter the power distributed to equipment by individual outlet.
