The PCC581B and PCC582B infrared thermometers feature a temperature indicator beam for indication of a temperature change. The PCC581B is compatible with the company’s 18V Li-ion or NiCd batteries, while the PCC582B is compatible with standard 9V alkaline batteries. Both thermometers offer a working temperature range of -22°F to 590°F, a temperature accuracy of ±1.8°, and a 12-to-1 distance to spot ratio for accuracy. Additionally, the units feature 10 memory settings that allow users to record measurements in different locations or remember readings in hard-to-reach areas. A backlit LCD screen provides visibility in dim lighting, and a lens cap ensures the unit is protected during transportation.
