The EcoGen is a propane-fueled automatic standby generator that is warranted for off-grid use when used in an alternative energy system. Working in conjunction with existing solar or wind power energy generation, when the power from these sources dips below an acceptable level, the inverter charger automatically signals the generator to start up. Product features include standby capacity of 6kW at 120V with 240V conversion capability, an operating life of up to 5,000 hr with proper maintenance, a weatherproof enclosure, and a sealed controller design.
