Series 1600 450kW and 500kW gen-sets now feature the company’s Series 1600 10V EPA Tier 2 diesel engine. The 450kW gen-set offers a standby rating of 450kW and a prime rating of 400kW, while the 500kW model features a standby rating of 500kW and a prime rating of 450kW. In addition, both gen-sets now include standard features that previously required custom ordering, such as a redesigned outlet box that incorporates the circuit breaker and control panel, which offers users the flexibility to mount the control panels and breakers to the right or left, depending on the need. The design also allows the main circuit breaker to be installed in a compartment on the right or left side.
