Models 6232 and 6238 deep cut band saws weigh 14.5 lb, offer the ability to cut up to 5-in. × 5-in. material in one pass, and are two times more durable than competitors’ models.
According to the company, Models 6232 and 6238 deep cut band saws provide
two times more durability than competitors’ models via Job Site Armor technology, which comprises a unique composite material and crush zone barriers to absorb impacts. Offering 11A of cutting power, the band saws weigh 14.5 lb, making them 3 lb lighter than existing models. Features include an LED light and a tool-free locking adjustable shoe that allows the user to quickly adjust from an extended shoe to no shoe in seconds. Additionally, tool offers the ability to cut up to 5-in. × 5-in. material in one pass while an adjustable shoe allows for less tool rotation when cutting material greater than 5 in.
