Baldor’s DC motor line offering has been expanded to include IEC and NEMA frame versions, round body models, and laminated frame styles.
This expanded line of DC motors includes IEC and NEMA frame versions available from 1/50 hp to 
500 hp, with custom-designed styles up to 3,000 hp. Round body DC motors feature the same shaft height and mounting dimensions as competitors’ motors, making them an easy drop-in replacement, while a full range of laminated frame DC motors includes explosion-proof designs. The ABB DMI DC motor is a laminated frame IEC product with ratings up to 1,400kW and a small footprint.
