Elastimold ComboT Integral Separable Connectors accommodate multiple cables in
one connector to provide the shortest elbow stack height in the industry and eliminate the need to modify or replace entire enclosures, according to the company. Designed to save approximately 3 in. of space in switchgear cabinets, the connectors feature a simple connection system with fewer interfaces, which eliminates blind assembly and minimizes the chance of cross threading. In addition, the product features red provider backbone transport (PBT) interfaces for 15kV reducing taps and blue for 25kV reducing taps in compliance with IEEE 386. The 25kV reducing taps are vented to prevent partial-vacuum flashover.
