Clamp-on resistance testers

Nov. 18, 2013
Megger’s DET14C and DET24C earth/ground digital clamp-on resistance testers measure ground resistance from 0.05 Ωto 1,500 Ωand true RMS ground leakage current up to 35A.

The DET14C and DET24C earth/ground digital clamp-on resistance testers are designed with flat core ends that help prevent dirt build up and ensure measurement integrity. The elliptical-shaped testers can clamp round cables up to 37 mm in diameter and earth tapes/straps up to 50 mm wide. The devices also measure ground resistance from 0.05 Ωto 1,500 Ωand true RMS ground leakage current up to 35A. Features include a large backlit digital display, a noise filter function that alerts the user to the presence of noise during testing, and an alarm limit function that can be set for resistance and current limits. Additionally, both models offer advanced test result management that includes time and date stamp stored results that can be reviewed on screen.
