The 405 and 605 Series are the only 1,000V CAT IV-rated clamp-on meters on the market,
according to the company. Designed to measure all types of inrush — even those due to load increases on an installation that is already up and running — both peak and rms inrush values are captured at a 1-msec sample rate and 100-msec duration windows. Features include the ability to measure in MW range down to 1W resolution. In addition, the meters measure up to the 25th harmonic, record up to 1,000 measurements, and auto-select AC or DC measurement. Jaw openings are up to 1.89 in. for the 400 Series and 2.36 for the 600 Series.
