Jan. 2, 2013
Features of the sealed, outdoor-rated MPPT FLEXmax Extreme charge controller include a passively cooled design, increased wire-bending space, and voltage step-down capability.
The FLEXmax Extreme is a sealed, outdoor-rated maximum power point tracking (MPPT)
charge controller. Featuring a passively cooled design, the charge controller offers full power output over a -20°C to 45°C temperature range without requiring a cooling fan. Highlights include: a ground-agnostic design with support for negative, positive, and floating ground systems; increased wire-bending space; oversized terminals for easy installation with large gauge wire; and the ability to service and replace components while the unit is mounted on a wall and attached to a conduit. In addition, the product supports 12VDC, 24VDC, 36VDC, 48VDC, and 60VDC battery voltages; logs the last 128 days of operational data; and features a voltage step-down capability and manual and auto-equalize cycle.
