The Snap Shot finds cable length, impediments in the cable, and conditions at the end of wires in data, power, or communications/video systems up to 3,000 ft. According to the company, the tool offers accuracy of 1% or better. In addition, the device can work on energized cables and can measure length on live telephone lines. Features include a large backlit LCD display, memory storage for most used cables, auto power-off, and four different tones for locating cables.
