Chicago-based Grainger recently announced it will add, relocate, expand, or remodel locations in the metro markets of Chicago and San Francisco. The company launched its expansion program in 2003 and has since upgraded facilities in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Denver, Seattle, Southern California, St. Louis, and Tampa, Fla., and is currently working to modify markets in Phoenix, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Philadelphia, as well as in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

By the end of 2007, Grainger expects capital investments of as much as $80 million in its market expansion activities.
