Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Kyocera Solar, Inc. recently announced that it has begun manufacturing solar modules in San Diego, to serve the U.S. market's growing demand for clean, sustainable solar electric generating systems. The U.S. module production line will support a new milestone for Kyocera's solar energy business — global production volume targeting 1,000MW of solar cells per year by March 2013.
Austin, Texas-based Ringdale announced the signing of an exclusive licensing, manufacturing, and distribution agreement for the region of Japan with Sojitz Systems Corp., Tokyo-based holding company with over $50 billion in revenues and a very strong market position in Japan. Sojitz-manufactured lighting fixtures for streets, parking structures, billboards, building exteriors, warehouses, offices, retail spaces, parks, and restaurants will be based on Ringdale's ActiveLED technology.
Power Sources Unlimited, Inc.
Wrentham, Mass.-based Power Sources Unlimited, Inc. has entered into an agreement with Magtech Industries Corp., Las Vegas, to distribute Magtech's line of LED power supplies, LED drivers, and LED dimming solutions to the North American market.
