(IES) recently reported $229 million in revenues with a gross profit of $37.1 million, a 16.2% gross profit margin. This compares sequentially to revenues in the fiscal fourth quarter of 2006 of $250.6 million with a gross profit of $34.8 million, a 13.9% gross profit margin.
Norwalk, Conn.-based EMCOR Group, Inc. achieved a 15.4% reduction in recordable accidents in 2006, marking a 36.5% reduction in recordable accidents since 2003. In an effort to reach zero accidents, EMCOR will launch a cross-company campaign - consisting of workplace posters, displays in operating company newsletters, mailings, and other tactics - designed to education employees and their families about safety.
St. Louis-based Guarantee Electrical Co. is serving as the electrical design-build contractor for the $91 million renovation of St. Anthony's Medical Center, continuing a partnership that began in 1989. The current project includes a four-story, 140,000-square-foot patient tower, 10,000-square-foot pediatric emergency department, and 70,000 square feet of renovation within the existing facility in addition to the renovation of 14 operating rooms and a new entrance on the south side of the building.
Buffalo, N.Y.-based Bacou-Dalloz is preparing for the completion of the final phase of integration of its Perfect Fit Glove product line into the company's main distribution center located in Columbus, Ohio. This month, the company will launch an expansion of the palm-dipped glove line.
